Group: Ben, Jesse, Meriam and Tiffany
Film Title: Irreversible
Plot
Tired of the daily abuse he receives physically and verbally during school and online from a bunch of bullies, Ben decides to take action into his own hands. Putting a knife into his school bag just before he leaves for the day ahead, he looks into the mirror and promises himself that today will be the last day he ever has to deal with the embarrassment of being bullied by Jamal and his friends in the playground. After a heated argument, Ben follows the gang leader home, and when no one is in sight he takes revenge on the bully by stabbing him six times. When the adrenaline finally subsides and he comes to his senses, he sees the stupidity of his actions and comes to the realisation that what he has done is irreversible.
The film will be played in reverse order, showing the events happen from the final scene to the beginning scene. Subtitles will be added so that the script is understood. This helps to portray the significance of psychological effects that bullying can cause to people, and how actions and words can lead to permanent damage for both the bully and the victim. It also contradicts the title, which is cool.
